Man Arrested For 2003 House Fire, Philly Man Shot By Father, PA Primary Results

A Philadelphia man, 32-year-old Abdu Rivera has now been arrested for arson that left five family members dead in 2003. The fire happened on November 18th 2003 on the 100 block of Widener Avenue in the Olney Section of Philadelphia. One of the victims killed was John Santiago, a local boxer, who had gotten into a fight with Rivera and other men. Police say the fire was intentionally sent by Rivera, he is now being charged with five counts of murder, arson, and other related charges.

A Philadelphia man is currently in critical condition after being shot by his father on outside of a home in North Philadelphia. The shooting happened at around 1 p.m. on the 3200 block of Princeton street in the Mayfair section of Philly. The 38-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital. The father who shot the man was taken into police custody. So far there is no known motive for the shooting.

The votes are in, and Donald Trump has won the Republican Pennsylvania Primary, and Hillary Clinton has won the Democratic Pennsylvania Primary. Donald Trump is also projected to sweep the rest of the states in Delaware, Maryland, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Clinton is projected to win Delaware and Maryland, while Bernie Sanders is projected to win in Rhode Island.
