A 28-year-old man was stabbed yesterday in the Hunting section of Philadelphia. The stabbing happened around 3:30 pm on the 3800 block of Park Avenue. The victim was stabbed in the chest, and was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was in critical condition. Police now say they have recovered the weapon and have arrested a suspect.

Activists around the Philly area who oppose the new Temple University North Philly football stadium got together to march down broad street. Other activists joined in as well to march for other reasons, such as increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour. The march was organized by a group called the Stadium Stompers.

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams announced yesterday that they have arrested 15 gang members that have been terrorizing residents of North Philly. The gang was located around 10th and Thompson Street, and were responsible for at least 9 shoot outs in the area. The gang members are facing many charges including gun violations, aggravated assault, and homicide.

The Phillies play at home tonight against the Nationals.

Today, Clear and Sunny, with a high of 65 in Center City.
