| Kelly Music For Life Announces the Haverford Concert in the Park Summer Series |

Havertown, Pa: Apr 14th, 2016 - Kelly Music For Life, producers of the Annual HAVERFORD SPRING FEST of Music And Arts, has announced the second year for the HAVERFORD CONCERT IN THE PARK SUMMER SERIES held in Haverford Township parks. After a successful first season, the series is being expanded to five different parks throughout the township. These concerts are designed to highlight good music in a comfortable twilight setting featuring Haverford Township's great Park system.
Programmed as a relaxing and fun night for your family, your neighbors and your friends, the Haverford Concert In The Park Summer Series will feature acoustic performances by some of the area's best known singer-songwriters and groups. Bring a picnic dinner, bring your own comfy chairs, or just stretch out on a blanket under the stars and let the music make the evening dance. You can dance along with the music, too.
"Kelly Music For Life is expanding our efforts to do good deeds through music. We say 'Play It Forward' and we will be doing just that with our new concert under the stars series this summer in Haverford Township. Haverford Concerts in the Park will feature outstanding performers in intimate settings in Haverford Township’s parks. Thanks to a grant from the Haverford Township Civic Council and support from sponsors like Nolan Painting, we can Play It Forward for the local neighborhoods hosting these concerts."
Business sponsorships are available for individual concerts or the entire series.
The concert schedule is:
June 11th: John Flynn, Dave Patten, and The Havertones at Llanerch Park, Darby Road and Moewyn Road
June 18th: Jeffrey Gaines at Paddock Park, 1701 W, Hillcrest Avenue
July 9th: Ben Arnold, Scott McClatchy at Steel Field, 1400 Steel Road
July 23rd: Laura Mann, The Barrel Fires at Normandy Park, Normandy Road and Aubrey Avenue
August 27th: Jill Sobule, Christine Havrilla at Merwood Park, Wynnefield Lane and Cherry Lane

All parks are located in Haverford Township. Gates open at 5:30 PM. The music starts at 6 PM and continues until 9 PM. Tickets are $10 each / Children 12 and under are free. Advance ticketing is available at http://kellymusicforlife.org/events/concert-in-the-park/. Concessions will be available at each concert or you can bring your own refreshments. Please bring your own lawn chairs and blankets. Haverford Township Parks are alcohol-free.
The Haverford Concert In The Park Summer Series is produced by Kelly Music for Life, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to improving lives and communities through music. Proceeds will benefit park improvements and other neighborhood initiatives. The Haverford Concert In The Park Summer Series will be streamed live around the world on iRadioPhilly. |
