Several people were sickened and a Delaware County office was evacuated after fumes filled the building on Wednesday. Firefighters responded to the International Plaza in Tinicum Township around 12 p.m. after reports of a strange odor on the fourth and fifth floors. 16 people were transported to area hospitals complaining of shortness of breath and chest pains. It was determined that a faulty heater was leaking carbon monoxide into the building. Firefighters ventilated the floors and the all clear was given around 1:50 p.m.

A 14-year-old 8th grade girl was stabbed with scissors inside a Philadelphia school this morning. It happened in a third floor hallway around 8:30 a.m. at Jay Cooke Elementary School in Logan. Two girls got into fight and one stabbed the other in the upper chest and arm. The wounded student was taken to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition. The other student was taken into custody and the scissors were recovered. The school was put on temporary lockdown. The two students knew each other and have history between them.

Details have been released about Philadelphia Flyer's founder Ed Snider's memorial. A public memorial will be held on Thursday, April 21st at 1pm at the Wells Fargo Center. It will be free and open to the public. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. Snider passed away earlier this week after a 2 year battle with bladder cancer. He was 83.

Tonight,
Clear skies, temperatures in the low 50's/upper 40's this evening in Center City
