Love Park was tagged with graffiti today, just days before the iconic park is to be renovated. The park is scheduled to be closed sometime this week as a yearlong; multi-million dollar renovation is set to begin. Mayor Jim Kenney has also lifted the park's ban on skateboarding, giving local skateboarders a last chance to ride on the granite benches, ledges, and steps. It is still not clear who the vandals are, although the mayor has said he suspected this may happen.

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams announced yesterday that Philadelphia resident Jason Guerra is convicted of Rape, Human Trafficking, as well as other related charges for running a Human Trafficking operation in the city. Guerra's sentencing date is scheduled for May 20th. Officials say Guerra faces a maximum of 159 years in prison, as well as a lifetime Megan’s Law registrant.

President Obama is now planning a trip to visit Cuba sometime next month. This will be a monumental moment between U.S. and Cuba because an active U.S. president has not visited the country in more than 80 years. The trip is scheduled to happen March 21st-22nd before the president flies to Argentina.
