Rock legend Billy Joel is returning to Philly this summer, with a concert July 9 at Citizen's Bank Park. Joel will become the first artist ever to play the Phillies' ballpark three years in a row. This will be the fifth time that legendary artist Billy Joel will take to the stage at the home of the Phillies with the distinct honor of performing at Citizens Bank Park more often than any other entertainer.

Due to the severe weather, local college basketball games will be rescheduled this weekend. All these games will be moved from Saturday to Sunday. Villanova will play Providence in a nationally televised game Sunday, January 24 at 1 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center. Also Sunday at 5pm, St. Joe’s will play at La Salle. The airport will be closed on Saturday. No flights in or out. PA Governor Tom Wolf has declared a state of emergency. A blizzard warning is in effect throughout the Philadelphia region through this storm. Blizzard conditions will be at their worst mid-day Saturday with white-out conditions in heavy snow and high winds. The best idea for tomorrow – hunker down someplace warm and ride out the storm indoors.

Philadelphia Weather
Clouds thickening ahead of a major storm expected to leave 12 to 16 inches of snow over the weekend. 33 in Center City.
