The father of 3-year-old Brendan Creato who disappeared from his Haddon Township home early in the morning last fall only to be discovered dead a short distance away has been arrested for his murder. According to the Camden County Prosecutor's office, a grand jury indicted 22-year-old David 'DJ' Creato with first-degree murder and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The boy was reported missing in the pre-dawn hours of October 13th by DJ's 911 call. He told the dispatcher that he woke up and his son was missing. Within a couple of hours, K9 units had tracked the boy's body to a wooded area near the Cooper River a few blocks away. The coroner's office could not determine a cause of death and toxicology tests were negative. Brendan's parents are separated and he was spending the night at his father's. The case has remained a mystery. Prosecutor's declined to make further comment. Creato will be arraigned on Tuesday.

Police in Chester County are searching for a pastor wanted for rape and institutional sexual assault of a young woman who came to live in his home. 33-year-old Jacob 'Jake' Malone of Exton first met the victim when she was 12 and he was a pastor of a church in Arizona. When she was 17, he invited her to come live with his wife and kids in Minnesota, and then again when he moved to Exton to pastor at Calvary Fellowship Church in Downingtown. The incidents occurred when she was 18. He would ply her with alcohol and molest her. Malone has moved around a lot, including missionary work out of the country. Police are casting a wide net in their search. If you have any information call the West Whiteland Police Department at 610-363-0200 or 610-692-5100.
