A 75-year-old woman was shot in the face during a robbery as she walked home from the grocery store in Philadelphia's Tacony section today. It happened in broad daylight on the 7100 block of Erdrick Street. The elderly woman was carrying two bags of groceries when she was jumped. The man demanded money and grabbed her. A struggle ensued and she was shot in the cheek. The victim continued the few blocks home where she was then taken to Torresdale Hospital in stable condition. The man is described as a Hispanic male in his late 20's/early 30's and was last seen driving a silver vehicle.

Radnor Township Police have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery earlier this month. 31-year-old Kenneth N. Jones is being sought for a December 17th robbery of two men on Pine Tree Road. He made off with an undetermined amount of cash. Jones is also wanted for similar offenses in Montgomery County and has an extensive criminal history. Radnor is offering $7,500 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information should call Radnor police at 610-688-5603. (see photo below)
