After being found guilty of violating his probation following a 2009 gun and drug conviction on December 17th, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill was ordered not to work or perform (or even leave Philly) before his February 5th sentencing, which could mean a return to jail. The judge and probation officer in his case are also not making a travel exception for New Year's Eve. He was slated to perform alongside his superstar girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, to ring in 2016 in Las Vegas. Instead, you'll find Mill out performing his required community service on Thursday. He can bang pots and pans in the streets with the rest of us, maybe check out the fireworks at Penn's Landing.

Axl Rose and Slash will reunite for the first time in over 20 years when Guns N' Roses headlines the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this spring. The two haven't played on stage together since 1993. Hints and rumors of a possible reunion have risen lately from mysterious updates to the band's website and facebook page as well as Gun N' Roses concert footage airing before some screenings of Star Wars over the holiday. The band is purportedly in talks with promoters for a 25 stadium North America tour.

Following the death of Motorhead frontman and bassist, Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, drummer Mikkey Dee told Swedish publication Expressen that the band is finished. “Motörhead is over, of course. Lemmy was Motörhead. But the band will live on in the memories of many,” said Dee. ”We won’t be doing any more tours or anything. And there won’t be any more records. But the brand survives, and Lemmy lives on in the hearts of everyone.” He said that Lemmy was struggling health-wise on the last tour. "He was terribly gaunt, he spent all his energy onstage and afterwards he was very, very tired," Dee said. "It's incredible that he could even play, that he could finish the Europe tour. It was only 20 days ago. Unbelievable." Lemmy was only diagnosed with cancer on December 26th before passing away on Monday the 28th.
