Philadelphia Police are asking the public's help in identifying and locating a suspect who punched a cab driver in the face and fled without paying the fare. At 3:48 am on October 31st the 62-year-old taxi cab driver picked up a man and women dressed as the Incredibles at Front and Spring Garden and drove them to a 7-Eleven on the 5800 block of Ridge Avenue in Roxborough. The pair went inside to make a purchase and when they exited they walked away from the cab without paying the driver. When the driver said he was calling the cops, the male suspect punched him in the face and they fled. He is described as a white male, early-to-mid 20s, 5’8”-5’9”, dark hair, stocky build, wearing a red "Incredibles" costume. You can call 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847.

A Bensalem teen was sentenced today to county prison in the death of a student hit while boarding her school bus. 18-year-old Michael Shelly was sentenced to 11 ½ to 23 months in prison and 5 years probation. On December 17, 2014, 16-year-old Minete Zeka was struck and killed while in the crosswalk boarding her bus. Shelly was found guilty this summer of Homicide by Vehicle, Involuntary Manslaughter and related offenses. His 1984 Ford Bronco was not registered, had no insurance, and had counterfeit inspection stickers. It also did not have an operational speedometer or defroster. He admitted his windows were fogged up. Shelly also has to produce a video about the dangers of reckless driving and contribute to a scholarship in Zeka's name.

A 17-year-old female student at Gloucester City Jr. - Sr. High School is under arrest and facing charges after a threat was found Monday morning. Officers and K-9 units swept the building. It was deemed safe and everyone was allowed to return around 10:30 am. Parents were notified of the incident. The investigation led to a 17-year-old student. She was charged with false public alarms and terroristic threats.

Clear skies and cold, temperatures in the mid 30s this evening in Center City.
