Christie Knocked from Main Event; Fattah Sr. Prepares to Run and Fight; Texting School Bus Driver

New Jersey Governor Chis Christie got knocked down to the undercard for the next presidential debate. Christie fell short of the support needed in national polls to qualify. The threshold set by Fox Business Network required candidates to average at least 2.5 percent support among likely Republican voters. Christie will participate in a smaller debate before the main event Tuesday in Milwaukee.

Federal prosecutors will now turn their attention to Chip Fattah's father, the 11-term Democratic congressman, Chaka Fattah who was indicted over the summer. The elder Fattah is running for re-election as he prepares for trial in May. The younger Fattah - who served as his own attorney at trial despite lacking any legal experience - said he was surprised by the guilty verdict and claimed if he'd had more money the result might have been different. Chip plans to appeal.

A school bus driver in Pennsylvania has been cited for texting while driving students in her bus. Fifty-four-year-old Anne McGouldrick was given a traffic citation for texting while driving a commercial vehicle Thursday. Investigators say a student on the bus used a cellphone to record her. She's suspended without pay and officials say further disciplinary action may be taken.
