Check your Halloween candy, if there is any left. Police say needle-like objects have reportedly been found in candy handed out to trick-or-treaters including several separate reports in Kennett Square. Police say a "needle-type item" was found inside wrapped candy bars given to five different children on Halloween night. They're urging parents to check all candy their children are given. People who have leftover candy are also being asked to check it for possible tampering.

A woman died in an apartment fire in Montgomery County on Saturday night after she refused to climb down a fire truck's ladder because she wanted to save her dog. Authorities said the blaze at the Plymouth Rock Apartments, off Germantown Pike in Plymouth Township, displaced tenants in 18 apartments. The victim was in her mid-40s. The cause was under investigation. Nearly 30 fire companies from Montgomery and Chester Counties fought the blaze.

Philadelphia Police are looking for a Notre Dame fan for alleged assault in the parking lot of Lincoln Financial Field Saturday night. The victim had almost been struck by a motorist and when the victim confronted the driver about the close call, the motorist - who was wearing a white, long-sleeved Notre Dame shirt - got out of his truck and punched the victim in his forehead, knocking him out, and then fled. The attacker is described as about 30 years old and 5-10 with a muscular build driving an white F-250 Ford Super Duty truck with Delaware plates, according to police. The assault happened just 10 minutes after the start of the Temple vs. Notre Dame game at the Linc. Anyone with information on the motorist's identity is asked to call the Police Department's tip line at 215-686-8477.
