A Barnegat, NJ man has been arrested for having inappropriate online communications with a minor. 25-year-old Steven Sheerer is the owner of the home where Rosie O'Donnell's 17-year-old daughter Chelsea was found on Tuesday after being reported missing. The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office has charged Sheerer with child endangerment and distribution of obscenity to a minor. Sheerer was arrested on Friday night. Police discovered several weeks of inappropriate communication between the teen and Sheerer on the girl's phone and other digital devices. His computer and phone were taken in a search warrant. His bail has been set at $40,000 and arraignment will be sometime next week.

A 4-year-old boy drowned on Saturday at a pool in Bucks County. It happened at Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park on Beaver St in Hulmeville. Nahyer Johnson of Locust Street in Philadelphia was attending a family gathering when he was found at the bottom of a pool around 1:30 p.m. The child was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne, but was pronounced dead a short time later. The circumstances surrounding the drowning are still being investigated.

A Philadelphia Police officer has been placed on desk duty after online video surfaced of him pressuring a motorist he just pulled over to buy tickets to a police fundraiser or else face the consequences. 32-year-old Officer Matthew Zagursky is a 9-year veteran in the 24th district. The driver of the car secretly recorded the routine traffic stop. Instead of towing the car because it is not registered the officer proposed the driver and passenger buy tickets to the Police and Fire Hero Thrill Show fundraiser. Zagursky said, “You and your friend got any money to buy these Thrill Show tickets to support your police department? Ten bucks each man. Either you buy these or I take your car. Because it’s unregistered.” The stop was part of a crackdown of unregistered vehicles. Zagursky was also caught on tape using a homophobic slur describing the motorist's pink windshield wipers which the driver said were in support of breast cancer in honor of his grandmother.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey condemned the actions of Officer Zagursky and said that Internal Affairs is investigating. Beyond the actions on the video, this shows Zagursky was willing to let an unregistered vehicle back on to the road, which is dangerous to the public. From the driver's Facebook profile its easy to see that the vehicle was heavily modified. The driver also does not hide drug use. Just to sell two tickets, Zagursky potentially let a criminal drive away. This is the exact point of doing the crackdown. Watch the two videos below:
