The Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers have reportedly agreed on a deal to trade for 2B Chase Utley. This comes a day after Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr. say it was 'very likely' Utley would remain a Phillie this year. The 13-year veteran has spent his entire career in Philadelphia and has expressed a desire to stay in the city. The 36-year-old Los Angeles-area native has been hot at the plate going 15-for-31 since returning from the DL on August 7th. Utley is a 6-time All-Star and was integral to the Phillies' successful run from 2007-11. He would rejoin his long-time double play partner SS Jimmy Rollins, who was traded to the Dodgers last year. The deal is not official yet. The Phillies will get 2 minor leaguers, outfielder Darnell Sweeney and right-hander John Richy, and will have to pay $2 million of Utley's remaining contract.

UPDATE 11pm: The deal has been confirmed and is official.

A guidance counselor and swim coach at an all boys private school in Chester County is accused of sending a teen student texts and emails in efforts to convince him to pursue a relationship with her. 40-year-old Emily Feeney was a swim coach and Director of College Counseling at Malvern Prep. She sent dozens of messages to a 16-year-old student, who was also a swimmer on the team, that read "I adore you - always have, always will." She also sent topless pictures and others of varying stages of undress. Feeney said she could get him into Harvard if the student would have sex with her. The victim repeatedly responded, "I'm not interested in you end of story. I'm 16. I'm not into you." He eventually told authorities in mid-May. Feeney is charged with Institutional Sex Assault, Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Corruption of Minors and Indecent Assault.
