According to Yahoo Sports reports, the 76ers are picking up star shooting guard Nik Stauskus as part of a salary dump by the Sacramento Kings. Sixers also get forwards, Jason Thompson, Carl Landy, and a future top-10 protected first round pick. Stauskas was the eighth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and had a good rookie season, hitting 50 of his last 118 shots from 3 point range. Reports say the Sixers only gave up a couple of second round European player picks.

Stutz Fudge is returning to the Jersey shore on Long Beach Island this summer. For the first time since Hurricane Sandy, the Hatboro confectioner will be selling sweets down by the seashore. It’s the third Stutz store, down from its peak of 6 stores in the 1960’s. The local candy manufacturer sold its LBI store after Sandy dumped 30 inches of water and will reopen in Ship Bottom.

When Pope Francis visits Philadelphia, he plans to make a stop at a prison – the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility. That is where Msgr. William J. Lynne, the 64-year-old former Secretary for Clergy is serving his sentence for his supervisory role over priests accused of having sexually abused children. No word yet on whether the two will meet during the prison visit.
