Janet Jackson, who celebrated her 49th birthday on Saturday, announced in a #ConversationsInACafe video that she will be releasing a new album and going on a world tour in 2015. She said, “I promised you’d hear it from my lips, and now you will. This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going.” Jackson has released new music since 2008's Discipline and her last tour was in 2011. There are no dates for the tour or a release date for the album yet.

Despite weeks of rehearsals on the unique three part stage, U2's The Edge, aka David Evans, stepped right off the edge of the catwalk during the band's encore on the opening night of their tour this week. It happened on Thursday night at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver as the band played “I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.” This tour is called “iNNOCENSE + eXPERIENCE.” One part of the stage is designed like an 'I' the other and 'e' with a catwalk in between. The Edge was playing guitar and walking along the catwalk, not paying attention to his footing, and stepped straight off the side. The fall wasn't too far, and he only suffered a scraped arm. He posted a picture of the minor injuries to Instagram with the message, “Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!!”

The edge fell off the stage. Poor guy. #U2 #u2ietour2015 #theedge #fall #concert

Maroon 5 have just released a brand new track, "This Summer's Gonna Hurt (Like a Motherfucker)," that's completely unapologetic. Despite finding faults with a woman he is attracted to, the protagonist knows that the physical attraction will override his better judgement. He will get involved with the women despite knowing that there will be problems and pain and he is already regretting the future. But she is so hot... If you ignore the lyrics, this is going to be a big summer hit... big beat, drippy synths, catchy hook. The band will perform the song this week on "The Voice."
