Murder Indictment for Husband and Mom; Jewish Activists Deface SEPTA Ads; Revictimization Act Struck

A grand jury has returned a murder indictment against Kyle Crosby and his 67 year old mom Jo Crosby of Sicklerville in the death of Crosby's wife, Erica Crippen whose body was found last month along the side of a rural road in Maryland. Investigators found the body of 26-year-old Erica Crippen by using a GPS device in her husband's vehicle. She had been missing since New Year's Eve.

Jewish activists around Philadelphia are using guerrilla protest tactics against SEPTA and the ad campaign on busses depicting Adolf Hitler in an anti-Islam ad. They are pasting stickers that are a parody of SEPTA's own "Dude, It's Rude" pro-civility ad campaign onto the anti-Islam ads: The stickers read, "Dude It's Rude . . . Hate Speech - Really?" (see image below)

A federal judge has struck down a state law that allowed violent-crime victims to sue offenders over speech that causes "mental anguish." The six-month-old "Revictimization Relief Act" was aimed at convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal who was invited to give a college commencement speech. But the law violated offenders' First Amendment rights and was so broadly worded that it could limit the speech of people professing their innocence.
