Philadelphia police are looking for a father and daughter who went missing on Monday. Thirty-five year old Akram Freikha, left his home on Moore Street in South Philadelphia to take his five year old daughter, Evelina to school. She never got dropped off and he never came home to take his wife to work. According to authorities, there's no custody order, no martial issues, and no mental concerns. More info and descriptions of the missing persons and the white Acura Sedan they were driving: Police say Akram has taken their 9-year-old daughter in the past without her knowledge of their destination, but he returned within 24 hours. Akram also goes by the name of Paul Lebon. Police describe him as 5'7", 180 lbs, with light complexion, brown eyes, black short hair. He was last seen wearing a gray suit, with a white or gray shirt, and a black coat. Akram was last seen operating a white 1996 Acura TL Sedan with a PA tag# FLX9436. Police describe Evelina as 3'6" 32 pounds light complected, with brown eyes, and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater, leopard pants and gray sneakers.

SEPTA police want to change parenting tactics used on trains and busses. Many parents point to SEPTA police and tell misbehaving children that the cop will arrest them if they don’t behave. SEPTA is concerned this makes kids fear cops and may not seek them out if children become separated from parents. SEPTA police will be handing cards to parents that explain the philosophy.

Still no decision on whether a plan will be approved to build a multimillion-dollar theater and museum on the former Bucks County farm of Oscar Hammerstein II. The grandson of the Broadway lyricist, Will Hammerstein wants to build a cultural institution on the farm where his grandfather wrote many works including Oklahoma!, South Pacific, and The Sound of Music.
