A Montgomery County woman missing since Friday evening has been found safe and sound according to her family and Philadelphia police. It was announced on the family's Facebook page around 4pm Tuesday. 20-year-old Deirdre Magolon left her home on Orchard Street in Royersford, PA, between 6:40 and 7:00 pm Friday evening in her sister's black 2005 Mazda. The car was found abandoned on Rt. 422 near the I-76 interchange in King of Prussia around 7:20 pm. Police received tips that she had been seen hitchhiking and received a ride to Rosehill and East Ontario streets in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. She may have also been spotted at Kensington Avenue and North Front Street on Saturday and near Kensington and Aramingo avenues on Sunday. Apparently, the young woman suffers from mental health issues and attempted suicide in the past. She was arrested in Upper Providence on drug charges last month and will be arraigned next month. The family posted this short statement on Facebook to the 1,000's of followers: “She's found safe and sound ! Thank you everyone for your help !!!!! My family and I greatly appreciate it.”

Three more Pennsylvania lawmakers from Philadelphia have been charged in an ongoing investigation into corruption and bribery. This is the same case that Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane refused to prosecute citing concerns over racism or political bias and credibility of the informant. Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams picked up the case instead. State representatives Michelle Brownlee and Louise Williams Bishop and former representative Harold James are accused of taking cash payments from an undercover lobbyist in exchange for political favors. They surrendered today in Harrisburg. They face charges of conspiracy, bribery and other charges. Williams said they took payments of between $750 and $2,000. These exchanges were all caught on tape. For example, Bishop was asked to sway the liquor control committee in support of privatization. This brings the number of lawmakers charged in this case to six. Democratic representatives Ron Waters and Vanessa Lowery Brown of Philadelphia have also been charged. Ex-Philadelphia Traffic Court Judge Thomasine Tynes has pleaded guilty in the case. These three new defendants will have a preliminary hearing on March 19th.

Philadelphia Police are looking for a suspect wanted in a brutal attack on a man inside a Chinese restaurant in the Hunting Park neighborhood on Friday. The incident was caught on surveillance video. The incident happened at 2:35 p.m. inside the Golden City Chinese Take Out on the 4000 block of North Broad Street. The 25-year-old customer was making a purchase when he was approached by the suspect. After exchanging some words, the suspect punched the man in the head several times, knocking him to the ground. He continued to punch and kick the man on the ground. Police say he dropped brass knuckles and picked them up. He then grabbed his food and left. He is described as a black male, light complexion, 6'1”, stocky build, with a long beard. He was missing his two front teeth and had a tattoo of a tear drop and a cross inside a circle under his eye. He was wearing a black knit hat, green hooded sweatshirt, light colored blue jeans, black/blue/white sneakers. Anyone with information on this assault is asked to call police at 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or (773847).
