Are the New England Patriots cheaters? The NFL is investigating whether the Super Bowl bound Patriots led by coach Bill Belichick underinflated footballs in their championship game against the Colts. An under-inflated ball is easier to throw and catch. ESPN has reported that 11 of the 12 game balls allotted to the Patriots were found to be underinflated by 2 pounds. Balls are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces. Officials inspect the balls two hours and 15 minutes before the game and give them to ball attendants shortly before game time.

A clipper system will is moving across the Philadelphia region this afternoon. It is quite likely the evening commute will be a mess. Also, the Thursday morning rush hour will be slushy. The system is moving in now from the West and the steadiest snow will fall from 4-9 p.m. Up to 3 inches is expected before it’s over.

Activists are demanding an investigation by the New Jersey Attorney General after police shot and killed a man in Bridgeton after a traffic stop. The newly released video shows the dashcam recording of the Dec. 30th fatal encounter between Jerame Reid and Police Officers Braheme Days and Roger Worley. The officers fatally shot Reid after pulling over a vehicle, in which Reid was a passenger.
