An 18 year old Temple freshman fell to her death last night in Center City. She was believed to have been taking pictures from the ledge outside the eighth floor window of a dorm at the Art Institute of Philadelphia at 16th and Chestnut. She fell onto a 44 year old woman who was hospitalized for her injuries.

The Don Tollefson trial was suspended yesterday when Tollefson, who is defending himself in the fraud case, went to Doylestown Hospital. Tollefson has type two diabetes and needs to check his blood sugar regularly. His blood test results were reportedly off the charts. Tollefson’s case is scheduled to go to the jury next week.

An eleven year old New Jersey girl battling cancer got her wish – a chance to meet Pope Francis. Gracie West was diagnosed with neuroblastoma a year ago when doctors found a tumor in her bones. Now in her 10th round of chemo, Gracie requested the visit to Rome to meet Pope Francis through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Now home, Gracie says Pope Francis welcomed her like part of his family.
