Authorities are looking for a technical school teacher who went missing in Philadelphia this week. 40-year-old Christopher Tully, a teacher at the Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in Bucks County was reported missing by his family after he was last seen Tuesday morning in South Philadelphia. Philadelphia police listed Tully's disappearance as an "endangered" missing persons case, saying authorities are concerned about his well-being because he had not taken medication for bipolar disorder.

President Barack Obama announced yesterday that he would like to make community college free to everyone who is willing to work for it. He gave a preview by way of a video announcement recorded aboard Air Force One. So far no details about what he means by “willing to work for it,” or who will pay for the proposed plan.

At the trial of Ironworker Union boss Joseph Dougherty, a former business agent, Edward Sweeney testified that 90 percent of the time he did not tell Dougherty about acts of violence or sabotage by union members until after the fact. Sweeney said that so called “night work” was openly discussed at union meetings, and that Dougherty expected these things to happen.
