Christie's Interest in Cowboys Questioned; First Snow of 2015; Limo Driver Warned Before Shot

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is being questioned by ethicists about gifts from Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones that include game tickets for Christie and his family, private jet transportation and more. According to New Jersey rules, the governor is allowed to accept gifts from friends in the private sector. But some nonpartisan watchdog groups are concerned about the NFL gaining influence in New Jersey. Christie’s well publicized interest in the Cowboys may be legal, but it doesn't feel right. Just ask any Eagles fan.

2015's first snowfall is on us. Not a heavy snow, but it is cold and enough to make for slippery roads and treacherous travel around Philadelphia. This is a fast moving clipper that will taper off around the region by the end of day. If you like the look, enjoy it. We expect a few more snow showers tomorrow and cold temperatures all week will keep it around for a while. Blue alerts for extreme cold are in effect for the homeless. If you are flying, check for delays with your airline.

The limo driver who was shot in the head and killed this weekend had received a warning message not to provide service to his fare, but the robber turned killer was already in the back of his car. The driver, Mijael Rodriguez had his fiancée beside him in the passenger seat. Accused killer, 20 year old Alonzo Dilligard threatened to kill her if he didn’t give him money. Rodriguez gave all he had, $30. As Dilligard got out of the car, he shot Rodriguez in the head anyway. Mijael Rodriguez died in his fiancée’s arms.
