A 52-year-old white male was shot and killed this afternoon by police while serving a warrant in Delaware County. It happened around 4:30 pm near the intersection of Garrett Road and Shadeland Avenue in Drexel Hill. The suspect was wanted for making terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to kill police and FBI agents in a video posted on YouTube. Police were following the man Monday afternoon after he left a home in Clifton Heights. He was stopped at the intersection by Clifton Heights, Upper Darby and Haverford Police. He was ordered out of the car after hitting a pole, but instead he put the car in reverse slamming into a Clifton Heights patrol car. The suspect then tried to run over police officers with his car. That's when several officers drew their weapons and shot and killed the suspect. The man died from his injuries at the scene. It is not known if the suspect had a weapon in the car. (besides the car itself)No officers were injured in the incident.

UPDATE: The man has been identified as Joseph Anthony Pacini of Clifton Heights. Pacini was wanted for terroristic threats made on his Youtube channel. Watch the video here:

A man suspected in two brutal rapes in Pennypack Park in August of 2010 and August 2011 has been extradited to Philadelphia to face those charges. 39-year-old Robert Palen arrived over the weekend from Madison, Wisconsin where he was jailed on sex assault charges. In both cases, a man picked up the women offering a ride home only to take them to Cresco Avenue near Stanwood Street to beat and rape them. Palen had moved to Wisconsin in 2012 to meet a women he met online. He pled guilty to choking and sexually assaulting her last year. His DNA was entered into the national database and matched these open cases here in Philadelphia. It also matched a third case in Philly but that victim has since died. He has been charged with two counts of rape and attempted murder and aggravated assault. He is being held on $10 million bail.

A Montgomery County woman accused of having sex with a teen in a park has waived her right to a preliminary hearing today in court. 42-year-old Iris Gibney of Pottstown was ordered held for trial and remains free on bail. Gibney was caught having sex with a 17-year-old Pottsgrove High School student in the back seat of a car at a closed Upper Pottsgrove park last month. She also also accused of sending the teen sexually explicit photos. The two met at school function and began communicating with each other. Gibney is a married mother of three.

Tonight,
Clear skies, temperatures in the low 30's this evening in Center City.
