Police have recovered the pickup truck suspected in a hit-and-run early Friday morning that killed a 93-year-old woman on her birthday. The truck slammed into the side of a house at around 2:30 a.m. on Redbrook Lane in Bristol and drove off. Jenny Russo past away shortly after presumably do to the shock and commotion during and after the accident, but she wasn't actually hit by the car. Once police found the truck on the 500 block of Bath Road in Bristol Borough, the driver went to Bristol Township Police voluntarily. They are currently being questioned.

A school bus driver was burned by wires on the bus before crashing early this afternoon on the Roosevelt Boulevard. It happened around 1:30pm near Wissahickon Avenue in the Tioga-Nicetown section. The driver was headed northbound in the outer drive when he was burned on his leg by exposed wires. He then lost control and swerved into a pole. There were 23 students on the bus at the time. None of the students were injured, but the driver was taken to Temple University Hospital with second degree burns on his legs.

Despite recent internet rumors, Philadelphia rapper Beanie Sigel has not died and is still alive. He continues to recover from a gun shot wound sustained on December 5th inside his Pleasantville, NJ home. Pleasantville police Capt. Sean Riggin confirmed the rapper's status. Sigel has been at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City and has been breathing with the assistance of a ventilator until recently. Police investigators were able to talk to him for the first time since the incident on Wednesday, Christmas Eve. There have not been any arrests yet. Police have found the family uncooperative, but have determined three persons-of-interest. Umar Salahuddin, 22, Sigel's brother-in-law, Kamilah Salahuddin, 33, sister-in-law, and Ricky Childress, 31, have all been questioned by police as persons-of-interest.
