Former Philadelphia sportscaster Don Tollefson told a Bucks County court today that he was withdrawing his guilty plea and will represent himself at trial. 62-year-old Tollefson was supposed to learn his sentence today in Doylestown after pleading guilty to charges back in September that he stole more than $317,000 from over 200 individual victims in a charity scheme. Tollefson offered special sports and travel packages by selling at charity auctions and fundraisers but never delivered the tickets to donors who bought them and kept the money for himself. He has previously said that alcohol and drug addiction drove him to commit the fraud. Tollefson was facing up to 30 years in prison. He told court today that he believes that he is innocent and wants his day in counrt. Judge Rea Boylan granted both of his requests. Back in May he was denied a public defender because he did not qualify. Trial is expected to begin on January 5th, 2015. Tollefson worked for both Fox 29 and 6ABC.

Dozens of New Jersey state vehicles were found with their tires slashed on Sunday morning in Atlantic City. 36 state owned cars were discovered with their tires vandalized in a parking lot behind the Child Protection and Permanency, CP&P office (formerly the Division of Youth and Family Services, DYFS). 74 tires were slashed in total. Police are currently investigating and looking for any surveillance footage that may prove helpful. So far there aren't any suspects. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Atlantic City Police Department by calling 609-347-5780
