A Philadelphia man has been arrested after the body of a woman was found inside the trunk of a car Sunday night in Maple Shade, NJ. Police were notified by the victim's family that she was missing. Using the vehicle's On Star, authorities were able to track her car to a Burlington County hotel. Police have arrested 41-year-old Jesus Garcia who lives with and had a relationship with the woman in Philadelphia. Garcia was in possession of the car when officers made contact with him. So far he has been charged with concealment of human remains. An autopsy is being performed on the victim to determine cause of death. Garcia is being held in Burlington County Jail on $150,000 bail.

Students from Philadelphia's Main Line colleges and universities staged a die-in, march, and vigil today at rush hour. Students from Bryn Mawr, Haverford, and Swarthmore Colleges, as well as Villanova, Harcum, Rosemont, and some residents of Lower Merion. It started at Bryn Mawr College and proceeded to Lancaster Ave where they performed their 4 ½ minute die-in in front of the Starbucks at Elliot St. The group marched down the middle of Lancaster Ave towards Haverford College where they held a 4 ½ minute moment of silence. They then looped back towards Bryn Mawr College marching down Montgomery Ave. shutting down traffic once again. A candle light vigil concluded the demonstration.

21-year-old Frank Briggs of East Germantown plead guilty today and was sentenced to 20-45 years in prison for a fatal shooting last year outside of a rapper's tour bus in South Philadelphia. The incident happened on February 28th, 2013 outside the Holiday Inn Express on Columbus Blvd. After a sold-out show at the TLA, rapper French Montana's tour bus returned to the hotel and was met by a large crowd. A black sedan pulled up and fired shots into the crowd killing 26-year-old Jowann King from Flushing, NY, and wounded a 28-year-old man also from NY. Investigators do not believe that Montana or any member of his entourage were the intended targets of the attack. Briggs did not make a statement prior to sentencing.
