LOOSE ENDS

1993---Nirvana agreed to an unplugged performance at the Sony Music Studios in NYC. It was part of a series “MTV Unplugged.” There was no use of ampilifers or use of electronic engineering. It was a raw performance. The recording was a milestone in the music industry. The album, MTV Unplugged in New York, went on to become a Billboard 200 #1 and to be considered by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest albums of all time. The performance won a Grammy in 1996.
