The 22 year old woman abducted in Germantown has been rescued and reunited with her family. Carlesha Freeland-Gaither was forced into a car Sunday night in Germantown. A team of U.S. Marshals in Jessup, Maryland apprehended her suspected abductor, Delvin Barnes, a 37 year old who also has an outstanding warrant for attempted murder and other charges in Virginia.

On Election Day, voters in Margate, New Jersey authorized the city to fight the state’s beach replenishment project. The state project known locally as the “Duneboggle” is facing local opposition because it is believed to be too costly and ineffective. However, New Jersey says it already has the easements and authority to move forward and will ignore the results of the vote.

Suspected cop-killer, Eric Frein was able to evade a manhunt in the Pocono Woods for 48 days. Yesterday Pennsylvania State Police released a full list of items recovered after Frein’s capture.
