Philadelphia police are looking for a 22 year old woman who was forced into a car last night in Germantown. Carlesha Freeland Gaither was last seen being forced into a dark colored sedan on the 100 block of West Colter street. She was wearing a blue denim jacket, a grey and white sweater and carrying a black backpack. Gaither is a black female, 5'3" tall, 125 pounds. Anyone with information should contact police.

Election Day is tomorrow and the Pennsylvania candidates for governor are making their final push. Democratic challenger Tom Wolf brought President Obama to Temple’s Liacouras Center for a rally where Obama spoke for about 30 minutes. Incumbent Tom Corbett was joined by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who said that President Obama’s approval rating is so low Obama probably helped Corbett by showing up in Philly.

The display of children’s author, Maurice Sendak closed yesterday at the Rosenbach Museum in Philadelphia. Max and his monster buddies from “Where the Wild Things Are” will be moved to a museum in Sendak’s hometown, Ridgefield, Connecticut where larger display space will be provided. Sendak died two years ago. Rosenbach did acquire a few hundred pieces and will occasionally display them here.
