A man died early yesterday morning in a one car crash on City Avenue at about 6:30 AM. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred at about 4:20 AM. The crash destroyed the vehicle and ejected the man from the car. He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he later passed away.

Former Delaware County police officer was found guilty yesterday of stalking his wife. Jack Parker, who had previously held two women hostage in a high school in 1996, now faces up to 20 years in jail. Parker reportedly showed up at his wife’s place of employment when repeatedly told not to, claiming he was attempting to catch her cheating on him.

Pennsylvania is launching a new program that asks people traveling from West Africa to regularly monitor themselves for symptoms of Ebola. Health officials claim that they will have protocols placed within a few days for anyone who wishes to monitor themselves. The state is one of the first placed in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s new program which will start on Monday.
