Frein Frustrating Manhunt Effort; Gas Prices Fall; Knott in Trouble over Twitter

Trooper ambush suspect Eric Frein is still on the loose. He is believed to hold a grudge against police authority. After allegedly killing one PA state trooper three weeks ago, Frein is now frustrating an army of almost 1,000 in the search party and possibly embarrassing them in the manhunt. Frein, a self-taught survivalist, has successfully eluded the search through the Pennsylvania woods, showing himself only to disappear again. In a statement Wednesday, State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens said he believes Frein is treating this as some kind of game.

Gas prices in New Jersey have dropped below $3 a gallon. And of course in New Jersey, someone else pumps it for you. Today prices at the New Jersey pumps are reported as low as $2.87 a gallon. Even better news, the prices are expected to stay low for a while. The main reason for the price drop is the switch from a summer blend to a less expensive mixture for cooler weather. And demand is off now that summer travel season is over.

Kathryn Knott is being punished for bad behavior. The female charged in the Center City beating of a gay couple has now been suspended from her job as an ER Tech at Lansdale Hospital. Knott may have violated HIPPA privacy laws with Tweets about patients she has dealt with at work. Hospital parent Abington Health System is investigating the assault charges and Knott’s public tweets. Take a look at a sample of her tweets on https://storify.com/Clarknt67/meet-defendant-kathryn-knott. Read her Twitter profile.
