Suspect in Trooper Ambush; Airline Groper Pleads Guilty; Lynne Abraham to Run For Mayor

As the family prepares a funeral for Cpl. Bryon Dickson, the PA State Trooper killed in an ambush this week at his barracks in Pike County, police are zeroing in on a suspect. 31 year old Eric Matthew Frein (pictured) of Canadensis in Monroe County is the subject of a manhunt. Police say he is anti-government and extremely dangerous. Frein is said to have belonged to a military simulation unit whose members play the roles of eastern European soldiers.

The drunk and disruptive passenger on a US Airways flight who groped female passengers pleaded guilty yesterday to interference with a flight crew, a felony. 41 year old Robert John Coppack boarded a Philly to London flight in May intoxicated and groped three women before air marshals returned the flight to Philadelphia for his arrest. Coppack faces a maximum 20 year prison sentence.

Former Philadelphia District Attorney, Lynne Abraham has decided to run for mayor. The 73 year old Abraham served as top prosecutor for about 20 years. Abraham joins Kenneth Trujillo and Terry Gillen in what could be a crowded field of Democratic hopefuls to replace 2 term Mayor Michael Nutter.
