A husband fatally shot his wife before turning the gun to wound himself this morning in a South Jersey hospital. Later, the couple's adult son was found shot to death in their home. 63-year-old Raymond Wychowanec went to visit his wife 62-year-old Denise Wychowanec at 9:25 a.m. in Kennedy University Hospital on E. Laurel Road in Stratford, NJ. After a 45 minute visit in her second floor room staff heard gunshots. Raymond had shot his wife and turned the gun on himself. She died but he survived the self inflicted wounds and was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden in critical condition. When police went to the couple's home in Glendora, NJ they discovered another body, later identified as the couple's son 35-year-old Ryan Wychowanec. Ballistics have matched the weapon to both shootings. The investigation continues.

Early Wednesday morning, Philadelphia Police found a 23-year-old man walking down Kelly Drive soaking wet, bleeding from stab wounds to his legs and torso, with his hands and feet bound. It was around 4 a.m. on the 2300 block of Kelly Drive in Fairmount Park. The man told police that he and two others were kidnapped hours earlier by 5 attackers, thrown into the back of a van, bound and stabbed before being tossed into the Schuylkill River. Police discovered the other two men dead in the water. They were weighted down and had their throats slit unlike the survivor who was able to make it out of the water. The three victims all knew each other. Police believe they were targeted and that the kidnapping and murders were related to drugs or gangs. The investigation has just begun.

The City of Philadelphia honored the Taney Dragons one more time this afternoon with a parade through Center City and South Philadelphia. The team represented the City, the State, and the region as Mid-Atlantic Champions in this year's Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. They came two wins shy of the title but they made the city proud and captivated the country. The parade today started at 20th and Market, around City Hall, and went down Broad St. They made stops at the Kimmel Center for the Philly Pops and Washington Ave for the Mummers. At the final destination in FDR park the team was honored by Mayor Nutter and it was declared Taney Dragon Day in Philadelphia. Taney is a fine example of the good kids can do when they work hard and focus on something positive.

Mostly Clear and warm temperatures in the mid/low 80's this evening in Center City
