1983----Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence starring David Bowie is released following a showing at the Cannes Film Festival on May, 10th 1983. The story is about the relationships among four men at a Japanese prisoner of war camp during WW II. This is Bowie's 9th film. A string of films that now is some 30 long.
