1969---The granddaddy of all music festivals, Woodstock, kicks off. Tickets stared at $7.00 for one day and a whapping $18.00 for all 3 days. The Who, Moody Blues and The Jeff Beck Group signed-on but did not show. The Byrds, Dylan, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Spirit and Chicago declined to appear.
