A man went missing after swimming off the coast in Island Beach State Park south of Seaside Park, NJ Friday afternoon. The 25-year-old was a French tourist and reportedly had not had experience swimming the in ocean before. The conditions were rough at the time and there were no lifeguards on duty on that stretch of beach. Coast Guard and local crews are searching by boat and helicopter or the missing man. He is visiting family in Pennsylvania and Canada.

A teacher and former councilman in Camden County was sentenced today after pleading guilty to having “sexually explicit conversations” with 17 boys over a five year span while teaching art class. Charles Reilly was sentenced to 5 to 15 years in prison. He plead guilty to official misconduct, child endangerment and attempted child endangerment. The boy's ranged in age from 12 to 16 and attended Pine Hill Middle School where Reilly was an art teacher and boy's soccer coach. Reilly was also a Pine Hill councilman.

The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that Roy Halladay and Charlie Manuel will both be returning during Alumni Weekend next month to be honored by the club. Halladay, who retired last season, will throw out the first pitch on August 8th and fans will receive a Roy Halladay Bobble Figurine. The next night, former manager Charlie Manuel will be added to the Phillies' Wall of Fame. A bronze plaque will join other Phillie greats in Ashburn Alley. Manuel led the club to it's World Series title in 2008. You can expect many former players and coaches to be there all weekend long August 8-10th.
