1981---Bruce Springsteen plays the 1st show at the 21,000 seat Brendan Byrne Meadowlands Arena in NJ. The 6 shows sold out in 1 hour. A ticket at that time $12.50. The same ticket today over $400.00. The audience was so loud Springsteen said, “When we got on stage, I couldn't hear the band. We felt like The Beatles.”
