Philadelphia Police have identified and arrested the suspect from last weekend's rape and robbery of a 26-year-old doctor near Rittenhouse Square. 28-year-old Milton Mateo Garcia from Honduras was arrested monday night at his work. He has been charged with rape, robbery, burglary, kidnapping and related offenses. The incident happened early Saturday morning on the 1900 block of Spruce street. The woman was walking home alone after leaving Ladder 15 tavern when surveillance shows the suspect forcing her into her building. She was assaulted multiple times before the suspect left with her iPhone and keys, only to return and assault her again. Police tracked her stolen iPhone to locate the suspect's home where they found both the phone and keys.

Phillies's AAA affiliate, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, have announced they will don specialty jerseys similar to Michael Jackson's red leather jacket in his iconic Thriller video when they take on the Pawtucket Red Sox at home on July 24th. That night is part of 80's night at the ballpark with other promotions planned included playing all nine tracks off the Thriller album. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with proceeds benefitting The COCO Foundation -- a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources and support to individuals, families, and friends who have been impacted by pediatric cancer. "No artist is more synonymous with the 1980s than the King of Pop," remarked IronPigs General Manager Kurt Landes. "We are excited to celebrate the career of Michael Jackson with these chart-topping jerseys while also raising awareness and funds for The COCO Foundation." (see image below)

Last Friday night, Union Transfer played host to a mashup of sports stars and some of the best in indie rock all in the name of charity. Philadelphia Eagles Linebacker Connor Barwin hosted the benefit concert for the Ralph Brooks revitalization project through his Make The World Better (MTWB) Foundation. The concert raised $85,000 and was matched by MTWB for a total of $170,000 going to the South Philadelphia park. Philadelphia's own Kurt Vile headlined the show with up-and-comers The Districts. The Tontons from Houston, TX also played (one of Barwin's picks from when he was on the Texans). Fellow Eagles teammates DeMeco Ryans, Jeremy Maclin, Jason Kelce, Mark Sanchez, Todd Herremans, Travis Long, Marcus Smith, and Riley Cooper also enjoyed the night.

Tonight,
Clear, temperatures in the low 80s/upper 70s this evening in Center City
