Two men are under arrest after a bank robbery in Havertown, PA this afternoon. It happened just before 2pm Thursday at the Santander Bank branch at 130 North Eagle Road in the Manoa Shopping Center. The men implied they were carrying a weapon. After the robbery, the men fled the bank and into the neighborhood. They were quickly apprehended, but Linwood Elementary was put on lockdown temporarily. Police used multiple canine units to track down and capture the suspects. There were no reported injuries.

The Coast Guard came to the rescue of a man caught out on a jetty in Cape May this afternoon. It happened at around 3 pm. Richard Perrotti was out fishing near the jetty in his 21-foot boat when a wake from a passing boat caused his boat to shake so much he had to jump out into the water. He swam to the nearby jetty. A Good Samaritan spotted Perrotti and radioed the Coast Guard who promptly responded. The rescue was caught on video (see below). The Coast Guard wants to remind boaters to be mindful of their wakes when passing other boats or property, they can be held responsible. Perrotti was wearing his life jacket when he was forced off of his boat.

Police in Cherry Hill are searching for two suspects who stole $20,000 worth of cell phones from a South Jersey Walmart. It happened around 11 p.m. back on May 16th at the Walmart on Route 38 in Cherry Hill. They used the claw end of a hammer to pry open a glass door. They then helped themselves various makes and models of phones. One left through the Lawn and Garden Department and the other was seen getting into a four-door light-colored Buick. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cherry Hill Police Department. (see a snap shot of suspects from surveillance below)
