It must be bear season in Bucks County. This is the second bear this week, this one showing up in Chalfont. The adult black bear estimated at several hundred pounds is giving Chalfont residents an unusually up close look at the wild, but police are warning residents not to approach or feed the bear. Officials plan to tranquilize and relocate the bear a safe distance from picnic baskets.

UPDATE: Friday. 5/30, A bear believed to be the same one spotted in Chalfont was spotted in Horsham on Friday morning at Rt 611 and County Line Road. The bear had to be euthanized because of a severely broken back leg.

The student who pulled a gun at Community College of Philadelphia yesterday is being charged with several crimes. Ryan Fitch, a 23 year old nursing student pointed his pistol at another student leading to the shutdown of the main campus. Initial reports say he was standing up for his girlfriend. No one was hurt. Fitch is being charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and related offenses.

The 76ers are considering a move to Camden. Not the whole franchise, but they are looking at land across the Delaware to build a state-of-the-art practice facility and administrative offices. The Sixers have rented court time for practice in the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in West Philly since 1999 but has been looking for its own facility. The 76ers would continue to play home games at the Wells Fargo Center.

Sports
The Phillies open a home series tonight with the Mets.

Weather
Mostly cloudy and cooler today. 66 in Center City.
