Former Phillie Tossed From Son's Game, Rom Home Collapse in West Philly, I-95 Pothole Repair

Former Phillie, Mitch Williams was ejected from a baseball game for 10 year olds on Saturday. Williams coaches his son’s team playing in a Ripken Baseball tournament in Aberdeen, Maryland. The Wild Thing disagreed with several calls by the umpire and after a profanity lace argument, Mitch Williams was tossed.

A third row home collapsed in West Philadelphia in the same block that two other homes collapsed in the last two days. There were two people inside the home at the time of the collapse. They escaped without injury. The buildings are on the 6100 block of Glenmore Avenue. L&I has condemned the home and added to the Imminently Dangerous list.

I-95 will be under repair tomorrow as road crews patch pot hole damage from this winter. You may want to avoid I-95 in Delaware County from the Philadelphia city line to the Delaware state line in both directions tomorrow between 9 am and 3 pm when crews are on the scene – weather permitting.

Sports
The Los Angeles Angels come to town tomorrow for a two game series with the Phillies.

Weather
Warm today. Thunderstorms possible. 86 in Center City.
