Educators in the Philadelphia School District will likely be charged in a cheating scandal accusing teachers and at least one principal of doctoring state tests. The Pennsylvania Attorney General's office is acting on the criminal investigation that does not appear to involve students, just the educators.

The Penn graduate student killed at the Walnut Street bridge this week was just beginning a promising life. Zachary Woods was thrown from the bridge after being hit by a car involved in an accident. The New York native had just arrived at the Wharton school after working 5 years in China. Woods had also just bought a diamond ring and was planning to propose to his girlfriend next week.

The mother of a 14 year old boy turned her son over to police after she recognized him on surveillance video terrorizing a Wynnefield beauty supply store. The teenager jumped a 67 year old employee inside Judy’s Wigs on 54th Street early Tuesday and demanded money. His mother is getting high praise for turning him over to authorities after viewing the video.
