DeSean Jackson is no longer a Philadelphia Eagle, but he is not leaving the NFC East. Jackson has agreed to a three year deal with the Washington Redskins. That means the Eagles will have to face the speedy wide receiver twice a year. Forbes reports Jackson’s new salary will be $24 million over 3 years.

A decorative wall collapsed in Chinatown overnight forcing the evacuation of tenants from an adjoining apartment building, but no one was injured. The wall had a brightly colored artistic tree attached to it and it fell onto the sidewalk about 4:15 this morning. Traffic resumed on the street after cleanup crews inspected the area.

Inmates at the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center will have a chance to learn horticulture while inside at a new prison orchard. Mayor Nutter was on hand at the facility to break ground for the Prison Orchard Project that will train inmates in landscaping and horticulture preparing them for jobs when they get out.

Sports
The 76ers have the Charlotte Bobcats tonight and the Phillies play the Texas Rangers.

Weather
Cloudy with showers today. 64 in Center City.
