Governor Corbett, Mayor Nutter and Archbishop Charles Chaput are in Rome today to help plan the 2015 World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia. On Wednesday, the three are scheduled to meet with Pope Francis. They hope to persuade the Pope to come to Philadelphia himself.

The Nor'easter heading our way looks like it will track further east and spare the Philadelphia area the brunt of the snowstorm. However we may get a piece of the snowfall as it moves up the coastline. By Wednesday morning, a coating to several inches is possible in and around the city.

There are reports that debris has been located in the Indian Ocean that may be related to Malaysia Flight 370. Australian planes say they spotted several objects in the search zone. Earlier today, Chinese officials said a crew found object identified earlier by satellite images.

Sports
Tonight the 76ers are in San Antonio. The Flyers host the LA Kings.
