The newly crowned Miss Philadelphia 2014 made her first public appearance yesterday in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Miss Diamond Edmonds is a 24 year old teacher from North Philadelphia who nailed the competition with a tap dance routine at Saturday's finals at the University of the Arts. Miss Edmonds will compete in the Miss Pennsylvania pageant in June.

If you see green today, it's not grass. The lawns are white thanks to winter's latest dumping. About 3 inches in and around the city. Parts of South Jersey and Delaware got 6 to 9 inches. There are only a few days left in this record breaking winter that has left over 65 inches of snow in Philadelphia making it the second snowiest on record. (officially 67.4 inches)

If Villanova and St. Joe’s both win their first round games, they will face off for a spot in the Sweet 16.
