A 24 year old Point Breeze woman was shot twice at point blank range overnight. The woman was asleep in her bedroom when she awoke to see a man wearing a dark mask standing over her bed. He fired two shots at her and fled the scene. She was able to call for help and is in stable condition. Nothing was taken from the home. Police are searching for a motive.

SEPTA says they hope to avoid a work stoppage and remains ready to address the issues and explore common solutions that will eventually result in a contract.
