Police have arrested and charged a second person in connection with the school shooting that took place Friday at Delaware Valley Charter High School. They say that video footage shows 18-year-old Donte Walker, a 2013 graduate, purchasing the gun from an unidentified male. Walker then entered the school building but did not pass through the metal detectors and the gun went unnoticed. He then handed 17-year-old Raisheem Rochwell the gun inside the gymnasium where two students were shot. Those two students have since been released from the hospital. Walker is being charged with Violation of Uniform Firearms Act as well as conspiracy. Police say that Rochwell may have been the target of an after-school assault and that's why he requested the gun.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service originated in Philadelphia in 1996 and has remained the largest in the nation since its inception. Today tens of thousands of volunteers joined more than 1,700 registered projects through the Greater Philadelphia area to celebrate what would have been King's 85th birthday. Girard College was the focal point of the service day with around 5,000 volunteers working on 150 projects on campus. For more information on the Day of Service and how you can be involved in the future visit www.mlkdayofservice.org.

Police say they have 2 persons-of-interest in custody in connection with the shooting death of a woman in Northern Liberties last night. It happened just after 10:30 pm Sunday night on the 900 block of North Front Street. 26-year-old Amber Long was walking with her mother when they were approached. One suspect grabbed Long's purse and there was a struggle as she wouldn't let go. That's when the suspect pulled out a gun and fired. The suspect and an accomplice got into a dark-colored or black Chevrolet Impala after the shooting. Long was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. The two males in custody now are not considered suspects but are speaking with police.
