Women in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia have been terrorized recently by a man with a very specific fetish earning the disturbing nickname “Swiss Cheese Pervert”. The man is described as late 40's or early 50's. He will approach a woman while driving a silver or black sedan with his pants down. He then holds up a slice of Swiss cheese and offers to pay the woman to put the cheese around his penis and perform sex acts. Several woman have reported this behavior to police and the Special Victims Unit is investigating. One woman even recognized the man from a dating website who messaged her two years ago proposing the same acts. If you encounter this suspect or have had a run-in be sure to contact police. Police were called to the South Philadelphia home of Eagles' wide receiver DeSean Jackson early Saturday morning for the report of a burglary. Jackson's mother called them to the home on the 3200 block of Pietro Way around 5 a.m. when she discovered that the player's second floor bedroom had been ransacked. The thieves had broken into Jackson's safes and stole an estimated $250,000 in cash, $125,000 in jewelry, and handguns. DeSean had been away this week, returning this afternoon. There were no signs of forced entry and surveillance was removed. Detectives continue to investigate.

UPDATE, Sunday afternoon: DeSean Jackson released this statement through a spokesman: “DeSean is clearly upset that his home was burglarized while he was out of town on vacation. He has always felt very safe in his community and it concerns him someone would victimize his place of residence. He had personal items, jewelry and a small amount of money taken in the burglary, however the amount that has been previously reported is inaccurate. The large sum that was taken was in items. He thanks everyone for their concerns and he is confident the Philadelphia Police Department will find the suspects at large.”

A father and son were found dead after a fire in their Northeast Philadelphia home on Saturday. It broke out around 9 a.m. on the 12000 block of Salina Place near Woodhaven and Academy Roads. The two victims were found inside after the fire was brought under control. Firefighters said that from the outside the home looked well kept and all the utilities were in order, but inside the residents kept it like hoarders. There were piles of cassettes, books, and aerosol cans that fed the fire which started in the living room. The victims were found in the dining room. The cause is still under investigation.

Penn State has hired 41-year-old James Franklin to be their new head football coach. Former coach Bill O’Brien left to become the coach of the Houston Texans of the NFL. Franklin was the coach of Vanderbilt since 2011. He has held various coaching positions at the college and NFL levels since 1995. Franklin is a native of Langhorne and went to Neshaminy High School.
