A masked man with a sawed-off shotgun robbed a popular late-night establishment in Fishtown early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. at the Loco Pez restaurant and bar on the 2400 block of E. Norris Street. The suspect forced two employees and two customers back into the bar after closing and demanded money. He made off with about $1000. He is described as a black male and was wearing a face mask, sunglasses, and a tan jacket. No one was injured.

The suspect charged in the murder of a US Marine outside a bar in Camden is now in custody. 31-year-old Darrell Crone turned himself in at the Camden County Police Department Police Administration Building at about 10:30 this morning. He is being charged with the shooting death of Timothy Loper Jr. Loper was trying to break up a fight outside the 20 Horse Tavern in Camden around 2:45 a.m. on Sunday when Crone pulled out a gun and began firing. Loper leaves behind a wife and a six-year-old daughter.
